Any individual or organization that creates or manages a PixiLink account.

A person who accesses or clicks on a PixiLink, whether or not they have a PixiLink account.

Services

The PixiLink website, dashboard, APIs (if available), QR code generation, analytics, subscription features, and any related products or services.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:

PixiLink currently supports account creation using:

• Google Sign-In (Google OAuth)

At this time, email verification may not be required for every new account. As our platform evolves, verification features may be introduced to improve account security.

Authentication

Your password is never stored in plain text.

PixiLink uses secure authentication mechanisms and password hashing to protect account credentials. While we implement reasonable security measures, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should not share your password with others.

Account Management

We are continually improving PixiLink. As additional account management features become available, users may be able to:

Some of these features may not yet be available during the current stage of development.

5. PixiLink Data

When you create a PixiLink, we collect and store information necessary to provide our Services.

• Original (Long) URL
• Generated Short URL
• QR Code associated with the PixiLink
• Creation date and time

This information is used solely to operate the PixiLink service, generate QR codes, provide analytics, and enable link management through your dashboard.

PixiLink does not allow anonymous users to create PixiLinks. A registered account is required to create and manage links.

Link Ownership

You retain ownership and responsibility for the destination URLs you submit through our platform.

By creating a PixiLink, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to share the destination URL.
• The destination does not violate any applicable laws.
• The destination does not contain malicious software, phishing content, fraudulent material, or illegal content.
• Your use of PixiLink complies with our Terms of Service.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content and destination of every PixiLink created through your account.

PixiLink does not routinely review every destination URL before it is shortened. However, we reserve the right to investigate, disable, suspend, or remove links that violate our policies or applicable laws.

Accounts that repeatedly create malicious or abusive links may be suspended or permanently terminated.

Data Accuracy

The information associated with a PixiLink is generated based on the details you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that your destination URLs are accurate and remain functional.

PixiLink is not responsible for broken links, unavailable destination websites, or content hosted on third-party websites.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy, which govern your use of the PixiLink platform.

6. Analytics & Tracking

One of PixiLink's core features is providing analytics to help users understand how their PixiLinks are performing.

When someone clicks a PixiLink, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information associated with that visit. This information is used to generate analytics for the owner of the PixiLink, improve our Services, detect abuse, and maintain platform security.

Depending on the features available, analytics may include:

• Total Clicks
• Unique Visitors
• Country
• Device Type (Mobile, Desktop, or Tablet)

• Referral Source (such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or direct visits)

Analytics are intended solely for the owner of the corresponding PixiLink. We do not publicly display analytics associated with your links.

9. Payment Information

PixiLink offers both free and paid subscription plans.

Payments for Pro subscriptions are securely processed through Razorpay.

PixiLink does not store or have access to your:

• CVV
• UPI PIN
• Net banking credentials
• Other sensitive payment information

All payment information is collected and processed directly by Razorpay in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and security standards.

PixiLink may retain limited payment-related information necessary to provide the Services, including:

• Transaction ID
• Subscription plan
• Purchase date
• Subscription expiry date
• Invoice or payment receipt details

Subscription Renewals

PixiLink subscriptions are not automatically renewed.

When your subscription is approaching its expiry date, we may send reminders or notifications so you can choose whether to renew your subscription manually.

No payment will be charged automatically after your subscription expires.

10. How We Use Your Information

PixiLink uses the information we collect only for legitimate business purposes related to operating and improving our Services.

When a PixiLink is permanently deleted, the associated link data will also be removed from our active systems, subject to any legal or operational requirements.

Analytics Data

Analytics associated with a PixiLink are retained for as long as the corresponding PixiLink remains active.

When a PixiLink is permanently deleted, its associated analytics will also be removed, unless we are required to retain certain information by law or for legitimate security purposes.

Backup Copies

For operational continuity and disaster recovery, encrypted backup copies may temporarily contain deleted information until they are automatically overwritten according to our backup retention policies.

17. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
